NOTD CG Cirque du Soleil

Hi Guys,

On the nails: China Glaze Def Defying and Whirled Away
And yes Whirled Away is a pita to apply and remove but I still LOVE it :-)

I think Cirque is one of my favourite collections from the last year by China Glaze

NOTD Lush Lacquer's Shred Me Silly

Hi Guys,

It has been ages since I did a nailpolish post, but I did get 8 polishes from China Glaze's Cirque
du Soleil collection for Christmas and I ordered some awesome polishes from the Indie company

Last year I orderd several mini's but I loved the Halloween colors so much
that I had to place an order.
They did have a nice sale around Christmas, so I went overboard and ordered
10 polishes :-) (including 2 Halloween polishes)

The first one I am going to show you and which I have been wearing for the
last two weeks is Shred Me Silly
It's a glitter polish with tiny white and black glitter and shards of bold and
bright colored glitter
I love matte glitter on the nails so this was a no brainer!

As a base I used a Magnetic Holo nailpolish in Shimmering Silver
I used 2 coats of Shred Me Silly and
2 coats of Seche Vite

And look: Instant Fun Nails!

This was number 1, 9 to go :-)

Check them out, last week they put a lot of new polishes in their Etsy store.
Shipping is reasonable and quick and the girls are lovely and creative.
Sure wasn't the last polish I ordered from them :-)

NOTD Party Rockin Peacock

Hi Guys,

Here another polish from my Lush Lacquer haul

Meet Party Rockin
Lots of blue, purple, pink and more glitters
I layered 2 coats Party Rockin over China Glaze's Gothic Lolita
3 coats of Seche Vite to smooth the glitters

Since I used the foil method for my former glitter mani my
fingers are completely dried out, sorry bout that!

Some not too great pics...

Have a great weekend!

NOTD Pink Panther

Hi guys,

I love nailpolish as much as I love eyeshadow!

Recently I've been looking in to indie nailpolish sellers and I ran across the
girls from Lush Lacquer
Karin and Lexi are a mother/daughter team who create and sell great polishes.
I love layering geeky and fun glitters and they have a shop full of awesome

I ordered 7 mini's (and already slap myself in the face for not ordering full sizes and preferably
all of them) and last week they arrived on my doormat :-)

The first one I am going to show you is

Yes: Pink Panther!!

It's a combo of matte white, black and pink glitter in several shapes and sizes
Check the description here

I layered it over China Glaze Splish Splash from the Summer Neons collection,
which I love to pieces :-)

Here goes:

Instant happiness for the nails :-)

I would love this glitter polish in black/white/green or black/white/purple as well

Pain in the butt to remove the glittah from your fingahs but these kind
of polishes are so worth the trouble...

Expect more Lush Lacquer's goodness in the coming weeks!

Do you like indie polishes? Any recommandations?

Hi All,

Here's my first gradient mani I did last week
I used the gradient technique from The Nailasaurus

Next time I am going to use 3 colors :-)

Pink: China Glaze Traffic Jam (Metro Fall)
Purple: China Glaze Grape Pop (Up And Away)
Seche Vite

Messy job, but someone's gotta do it :-)

NOTD Gradient Mani Extraordinaire

Hi Guys,

Today I attempted a second try for a gradient mani, I will post the first one as well
but I was sooo happy with the way this turned out, I had to show you!

I used OPI's Did It On 'Em as a base
Then I painted two stripes of polish on a piece of cheapass household sponge
For this I used Did It On 'Em and Fly (both OPI Nicky Minaj) and started dabbing on the
nail until everything blended perfectly.
I used one coat of Cover Band's Sticks 'N Stones
and two coats of Seche Vite to even it all out

I really love this :-) so you get pic spam!

And a oiled cuticle pic...

Have you already tried gradient manis?
What's your foolproof method?
