EOTD Smokey Taupes

Hi All!

Yesterday Mr. Morgaine and myself went to see the band Customs
Customs is a great Belgian guitarband
Check them out here
And listen to this song

Anyways...Mr. Morgaine suggested a sultry smokey eye (his favourite)
and being the obedient wife I am, I complied lol

I used
Regular base and mascara
I started with using Essence's Berlin Rocks gel liner as a base on my eyelid
and blended this up and applied it under the eye
Next I took Inlgot's P420 for the crease to blend the edge of the gel liner some more
Then I applied Inglot's P434 on the lid and under the eye
I used Inglot's AMC 30S on the browbone
I blended everything and last I applied the gel liner on my waterline

And this is how it looked

Well, you could say I made good use of my new Inglot shadows this week lol

What should I wear the coming week?
Catrice, Sleek, Wet n Wild, Indie minerals?
Any suggestions? Perhaps we can make it a little challengy thingy?

Have a great Sunday y'all!

EOTD & FOTD Sequined Master

Hi All!

Yesterday me and Mr. Morgaine went to the Patronaat in Haarlem
to see mr. John Watts / Fischer Z
John had major voice problems so he promised everyone there would
be a new free concert, and he would see how far he would come this evening
He played for 1,5 hour and it was awesome!!!!
All the great songs were there, Marlies, So Long, The Worker and even
Batallion of Strangers, we had an awesome night
I'm keeping an eye on the site of the Patronaat for the 2nd gig...lol

Yesterday everything feel in to place makeup wise lol
I really loved how this look came out

Regular base with Pixie Epoxy
Wet n Wild's Vanity palette for the matte browns
Catrice's Captain Of The Black Pearl
Fyrinnae's Sequined Master
(this is one of the Arcane shades, and it looked blue/purple and Mr. Morgaine
even discovered some green hahaha)
Regular eyeliner and mascara
Catrice Mineral Compact Powder
Catrice High Definition Duo Blush in Raspberry Ice Cream
NYX Lipgloss (forgot which one, sorry)

Pic Spam!!

And some full face pics

*no flash*

*flash*

I think I found my perfect look... <3
I really like the matte neutral crease in combination with the sparkles of Sequined Master
And it makes my hooded eyelids less hooded
I also used a makeup tissue to create a sharp line at the outer corner
I am sure gonna try this with my other zillion mineral eyeshadows lol

What do y'all think, did I succeed?
Any tips? Color combo's I should try?

Lemmeknow in the comnents!

Have a great Sunday/evening!

EOTD GDE Halloween Sets and a Reviewy Kinda Thing

Hi All!

I am recooperating from an evening of Horrorpunk!

Yesterday at 16.30 my phone rang and I was offered a ticket
to the Coffin Carnival at Eindhoven.
I was picked up within the hour lol, I never got dressed, made up (no pics, but I used FrankenGlamour among others) and polished that fast!
Anyway I had a great evening with my friends and saw the Cenobites, the Other and Mad Sin!

In this context these scareshadow looks fit in just great!

Here I used Infectious, Undead, Satan's Sheets and Zombie Date Night
Infectious is, I think, the best orange I own, it's great.
And Undead, omg I can't even describe how much I like it.
Satan's Sheets is a great hightlight colour, I used it in the tearduct as well.

Here I used FrankenGlamour, Teenage Witch, Bruised, Graveyard and
Skin of a Killer for the browbone.
NYX Jumbopencil in Lemon on the waterline.
The sparkle in Bruised is just amazing, and the green of FrankenGlamour is just
the way I love my greens!

These were two looks I threw together rather quickly because I wanted to try these colours so badly lol.
They are all very beautiful, pigmented and blend very easily.
You can combine them all and they're very wearable and have very great sparkle and sheen.
Graveyard is a perfect darkgrey matte, perfect if you want something a little softer then black.

I am very happy I was in time to purchase these two sets, I am
sure I am gonna use them a lot and definately not just for Halloween!

Warm hugz (yep summer's back for a day here)

ps I changed my blog to a more fally scene, hope y'all like!

EOTD, Music and Mini Haul

Yesterday I went to the Baroeg Open Air festival at Rotterdam.
I saw several bands, Diary of Dreams (yay!!), The Wounded, Umbra et Imago and Sodom.
The weather was great, sunny and 24 degrees Celsius.

I wanted a bright makeup and I dare say I did.
I really loved how this came out.

Most colour accurate pic
I used
John van G eyeshadow base with NYX jumbopencil in Milk
Bright green from a Zoeva palette (don't see it on their site anymore)
Sugarpill's Midori (green), Poison Plum (purple) and Tako (white)
DA eyeliner in black (looked better irl)
Max Factor Masterpiece Max mascara in black.

And leave it to me to buy some makeup on a Metal festival lol
I grabbed two colours from Manic Panic

Left; Deadly Nightshade
Right; Bella Donna

Expect an EOTD with these cuties..

Have a great Sunday!
